Photography

Each time a photo is taken, millions of light particles - known as photons - strike the CCD and become forever recorded in the form of zeros and ones...at least until someone decides to delete the potentially embarrassing photo. I love photography not only because it is an artistic medium that allows you to easily study the various forms of beauty in our daily lives, but it is also an essential tool for many scientific studies.
